This role is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Cath Lab, responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The nurse will perform a variety of tasks, including assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, managing hemodynamics, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Weekend and weekday on-call responsibilities are required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., Rotablator, IVUS, FFR).
- Managing hemodynamics and patient monitoring.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Managing IABP and Impella devices.
- Performing patient assessments and documenting findings.
- Participating in on-call rotations for both weekdays and weekends.
- Performing sedation, monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing roles as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Proficiency with diagnostic caths, interventions, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, and hemodynamics.
- Experience with IABP and Impella devices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.
- Experience with ECMO.
- Experience in all Cath Lab and/or EP roles (sedation, monitor, circulator, and scrub roles).
- Previous foundational ICU or ED experience.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend and weekday on-call responsibilities are required.
- 40 hours/week schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 4x10-hour weekend shifts as needed.
- Facility is not accepting travel nurses.
- BILH Coversheet Required.
- Cannot have worked permanently or as a traveler for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months.
