We are looking for a warm and friendly Front Desk Receptionist at St. Joseph School! The hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am-2:30pm. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors at St. Joseph Elementary School. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and organized school environment by managing the front desk, greeting and assisting visitors, delivering items to classrooms, using the Raptor ID System when guests arrive, and ensuring smooth daily communication and logistics. Key Responsibilities: Warmly greet and assist all visitors, families, students, and staff at the school's main entrance . Monitor and manage visitor sign-in/sign-out process and ensure adherence to school safety protocols. Respond to general inquiries with clarity and professionalism. Assist with student late arrivals, early dismissals, and daily attendance reporting. Collect and deliver student lunches, forgotten items, forms, or materials to classrooms. Assist with student late arrivals, early dismissals, and attendance updates. Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and school supplies. Maintain confidentiality and support the safe and efficient daily operation of the school. Uphold the Catholic identity and mission of the school in all interactions and duties. Assist in emergency drills and follow protocols as directed by administration. Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the school. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant administrative experience preferred. Prior experience in a school or office setting is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and ability to learn school-specific software systems. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Dependable, punctual, and organized. Work Environment: Fast-paced, child-centered school environment. Requires sitting, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds (e.g., packages, lunch items). **Starting pay is $17/hour.
