PT, Flexible schedule min 10 hrs, Mon-Thurs, 1 pm-8 pm, Sat 9 am-Noon, Tutor at our Center, College & Retirees Welcome Company The Tutoring Club of St Johns located off State Route 13 in Julington Creek and off CR210 in the Publix Plaza! For over 10 years, we have passionately served St. Johns County students of all ages (K-12) to increase their confidence and academic competence! We are looking for Math and Science tutors to grow our team. Math and Science Tutor Position This position is at our Julington Creek Location . Math and Science Tutor Responsibilities Confidently tutor up to 3 students per hour on different subjects in our center Follow provided curriculum for each student and assist with homework and helping students to study for tests. Math and Science Tutor Benefits There are many benefits to working with Tutoring Club, here are a few: Our tutoring schedule is Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm You won't need to do any lesson planning or education curriculum development on your own time. Our admin team does all that for you! You just get to come in and have fun with our students. $100.00 Sign-on Bonus after 90 days of employment Pay is between $15 - $19 per hour depending on educaiton and qualifications We are super flexible regarding your schedule We love experienced tutors and will pay more for your experience! Our students need extra help and the more that you can help them, the more you will shine!! You're getting to help students build skills while building confidence. Math and Science Tutor Qualifications Let's talk about job qualifications: We prefer that you have a Bachelor's Degree or have at least 60 credit hours in college. You will need to CONFIDENTLY tutor up to 3 students at the table each hour. Don't worry, we provide fantastic training! You will need to be able to multitask. Our kids look up to our tutors as mentors and coaches, so you will need to be firm and loving with the students; setting effective boundaries and helping them stretch academically! In order to get the maximum number of hours and have a minimum of 10 hours of availability , you will need to be available to tutor for a minimum of 3 days each week. You must have your own laptop and be comfortable tutoring using DIGITAL programs Excellent written and verbal communication skills To learn more about us, check out TutoringClub.com/stjohnsfl.
