**Overview** **California Rehabilitation Institute** ***A partnership between Cedars-Sinai, UCLA Health and Select Medical*** Century City / Los Angeles, CA Pharmacy Technician - Full Time (Varying Hours) **Pay Rate: $27.74 - $37.33** **Benefits of being a Pharmacy Technician with us:** + Working with a collaborative clinical team + Impact on patient care and their quality of life + Ability to grow and learn new skills + Opportunity to gain hospital pharmacy experience + Great orientation and training program + Medical, Dental, and Vision + Prescription coverage + 401k Retirement Plan with match + Tuition assistance + A network of over 50,000 employees nationwide with relocation and advancement opportunities **Responsibilities** **Position Summary** Under direct supervision, assists pharmacist in providing medications to patients and performs routine duties in hospital pharmacy. **Specific Duties** + Fills medication carts under direct supervision of a pharmacist. + Prepares IV piggyback medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. + Orders, unpacks and stores supplies, verifies items received against invoices and stores perishables in refrigerators. + Delivers supplies and medications to various departments as needed. + Fills floor stock requests. + Produces labels via computer for requested medications. + Compiles outdated medications through monthly inspection of Pharmacy, and returns to appropriate vendor. + Performs Quality Improvement activities as directed. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications** + One to two year's experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred. + Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required. **Additional Data** **California Rehabilitation Institute** a 138-bed facility offers patients a higher degree of excellence in medical rehabilitation.
