Job Requirements
Age: Minimum of 21
Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident, meeting all State and Federal eligibility requirements for law enforcement
Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours required
Driver's License: Valid
Vision: Correctable to 20/20, free from colorblindness
Certification: POWER test card dated within one year of the application deadline
Additional Requirements: Ability to pass all selection and training requirements, agree to a two-year expense reimbursement, no felony convictions, and under 35 years of age when placed on the eligibility list (unless exceptions apply per Illinois State Statute)
