Real Estate Analyst I

The Real Estate Analyst I will specialize in identifying and evaluating potential parcels for development projects. The Real Estate Analyst will utilize data analysis, market research, and geographic information systems (GIS) to assess the suitability of land for various purposes of EV infrastructure development.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of real estate and land use principles. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Prior experience in real estate development, land acquisition, or property valuation is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Geography, Economics, or related field

Experience: 0-2 years of experience.

Travel: 15-20%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and demand for land in target areas. Analyzes demographic data, economic indicators, and zoning regulations to assess market viability.
  • Utilizes GIS software and mapping tools to identify potential land parcels suitable for development based on predefined criteria such as size, location, zoning, and infrastructure availability.
  • Conducts thorough due diligence on selected land parcels, including title searches, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance checks. Evaluates potential risks and opportunities associated with each site.
  • Performs financial analysis and feasibility studies to assess the economic viability of land development projects. Calculates project costs, anticipated returns, and potential profitability.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, external consultants, landowners, and government agencies to gather relevant information, negotiate land transactions, and navigate regulatory processes.
  • Identifies potential risks and challenges associated with land acquisition and development. Develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
  • Prepares clear and concise reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and proposed land acquisition strategies. Presents findings to senior management and key stakeholders as needed.
  • Stays up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting land development. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and optimize land selection strategies.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
