We are seeking a full-time Nursing Supervisor to share oversight responsibilities over the St. Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinical staff in Twin Falls. You would be joining a patient focused and collaborative leadership team!

What you can expect from this role

  • Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours vary on clinic need
  • Certification pay (ex. OCN)
  • Responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership, guidance, counseling, and continuing education to staff
  • Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff
  • Work with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsel staff when clinical practice standards are not met
  • Assist with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Collaborate with all members of care provision team to share knowledge and plan for optimal outcomes
  • Serve as administrative authority for the smooth function of all units on assigned shift
  • Coordinate quality initiatives and process improvements
  • Assist with budget planning and clinical needs assessments

 

Minimum qualifications for this role

  • Education: Nursing Degree
  • Experience: Three (3) + years’ relevant RN experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Preferred: Oncology experience, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration experience, OCN certification, and/or Leadership experience
