Essential Functions

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Implement care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care and monitor conditions, communicating effectively with the care team.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and collaborate across disciplines for coordinated care.
• Evaluate learning needs and provide education tailored to patients and families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Supervise and train new employees as directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Required Skills:

• Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Handle with Care certification within 3 months of hire.

Licenses:

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state compact license).

Minimum Work Experience:

• 1-3 years preferred, with recent acute care experience within the past 3 years.
