**START IMMEDIATELY - Entry-Level Shipping Clerk** **Job Description** A Shipping Clerk is needed for a large metal finishing facility located in Costa Mesa, CA. You can start next day after interview. We have openings for **First shift (6am-2:30pm)** , and **Second shift (2pm-10:30pm)** . Pay will start at $16.50 for no experience and $18 an hour with overtime opportunities once training is complete. Bi-lingual/Spanish speaking a big plus. **Responsibilities** + Ensure production schedule meets customer due dates. + Assist in processing production orders. + Perform quality assurance activities throughout all stages of production. + Receive and inspect customer products for processing. + Greet customers at the service counter. + Receive shipments from carriers such as UPS and FedEx. + Verify purchase orders including part numbers and quantities. + Conduct visual inspections for part damage and previous processing. + Verify part quantities and stage receiving shelves. + Maintain part identification and traceability. + Complete and maintain paperwork as required by internal procedures. + Maintain cleanliness, organization, and workflow of the receiving area. + Seek opportunities to learn new skills and cross-train into various departments. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr.
