Responsibilities for Veterinary Assistant include: Drawing blood Processing in-house blood work Training less-experienced assistants Animal restraint Assisting doctors in exam rooms Assisting LVT prepare animals for surgery Assisting with x-rays Preparing vaccines Entering charges Filling medication General cleaning duties Nail-trims Other duties as assigned The successful Veterinary Assistants will share our commitment to delivering the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service. Reliable transportation Must be able to lift pets up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of Impormed is a plus. Flexible schedule, hours may include days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
